Riley Moving and Storage has been in the business of moving families, companies and everything in between for more than 80 years. In 1922, Mr. Dennis Maher founded the company in Iowa City. Riley Moving and Storage began by transporting a variety of products across the United States. As the company grew, Riley Moving and Storage expanded their services to include moving household goods.
During the 1950s, the ownership of Riley Moving and Storage transferred to the Riley family. For more than 50 years, the original founders' commitment to outstanding customer service has been carried forward by the Riley family, who still owns the business today.
In the 1980s and 1990s, Riley Moving and Storage grew to be one of the most reputable and sought after moving companies in Eastern Iowa. As a result, the company expanded its operations to include a terminal in Cedar Rapids Iowa, as well as the Quad Cities Market. Additionally, in 1995, Riley Moving and Storage formed a partnership with North American Van Lines, which continues today.
Today, Riley Moving and Storage continues to uphold and increase the company's outstanding reputation for customer service, convenience and innovative moving solutions.
